Campus Involvement

The U of A is home to more than 400 clubs and organizations. With a community for everyone, you can join peers who are interested in similar hobbies and research areas or challenge yourself with something new.

Here are five groups that you might find other AREC graduate students in:

AREC Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

Meet once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters to identify DEI issues in the department and on-campus, plan DEI activities such as guest lecturers and speakers, and pursue funding for students. Contact arec_dei@list.arizona.edu to join.

Cultural & Resource Centers

Find resources for using diversity, equity, and inclusion to empower every graduate student to thrive, excel, and succeed.

Agricultural & Resource Economics (AREC) Club

AREC Club is dedicated to helping students engage in educational and professional opportunities relating to Agricultural/Resource Economics and Agribusiness. We offer tools to navigate a profit-maximizing world without endangering our earth.

CALES Graduate Student Council

Serve as a CALES graduate ambassador and representative to build transferrable skills in leadership, agency, communication and intercultural fluency. Contact Dr. Kirsten Limesand (limesank@arizona.edu) to apply.

Graduate & Professional Student Council (GPSC)

Promote transparent communication and the academic, economic, and social aims of the graduate and professional students of the University of Arizona as a member of the GPSC.
