The accelerated master's program allows eligible Agricultural and Resource Economics students to take graduate and undergraduate courses simultaneously, earning dual credit toward both degrees while maintaining eligibility for undergraduate scholarships and avoiding graduate tuition fees.
About the Accelerated Master's Program
Students pursuing a B.S. in Agribusiness Economics and Management or Environmental and Water Resource Economics may apply to the accelerated master's program (AMP) to earn an M.S. degree in Applied Econometrics and Data Analytics or Applied Economics and Policy Analysis. You'll complete both undergraduate and graduate courses in your senior year, allowing you to graduate with both degrees faster.
- The accelerated master's degree in applied econometrics and data analytics is an 18-month program and doesn't require a thesis.
- The accelerated master's degree in applied economics and policy analysis is a two-year program and requires a thesis.
- While in AMP undergraduate tuition fees apply. Once your undergraduate degree is completed, graduate tuition fees apply.
- One year of graduate study after finishing your accelerated coursework in your senior year is needed to complete your M.S. degree.
